Endau-Rompin National Park

Located on the Johor-Pahang border, this 2 ½ century old extensive low land forest is home to several rare and endangered species. This park is popular with conservationist and nature lovers who enjoy the wildlife and virgin environment.


Gunung Ledang Recreational Forest
Gunung Ledang, is said to be the home of the legendary Princess' Puteh Gunung Ledang' once wooed by the Sultan of Malacca. The mountain is a favorite among local mountaineers in search of excitement and adventure. The Sagil waterfall at its base is a favorite spot for picnicking. Crystal clear river water and breathtaking waterfalls in tranquil, unspoiled environment beckon visitors to this area for a cooling bath or simply a quiet rest. Various amenities, including rest sheds, dressing rooms, camping sites, foods tails and car parks are provided here. There are also tracks leading to the summit of Gunung Ledang.

Gunung Pulai Recreational Forest
This 8 hectare forest reserve is a catchments area, unique flora and fauna sanctuary and a fascinating recreational haven. There are several waterfalls with pools at its bottom. Apart from being an ideal picnic spot, the forest is a venue for seminars, work camp and jungle trekking to the summit of Gunung Pulai.

Gunung Arong Recreational Forest

This forest of towering and shady trees and natural setting offer a refreshing retreat for visitors. There are popular picnic spots by the riverside, a garden and a well-equipped playground. Other facilities include rest shades, dressing room, toilet and treetop huts. Jungle trails are also provided for the more adventurous visitors.

Gunung Lambak Recreational Forest
Located at the foothill of Gunung Lambak, this recreational forest is a favorite retreat for picnics, bathing and mountain-climbing. The 510m high Gunung Lambak is accessible by footpaths provided. Facilities including car park, benches, rest shade, dressing room, toilets and a bridge leading to camp sites are provided.

Gunung Belumut Rerreational Forest

Lush greenery and ravishing wilderness await visitors. It is haven for camping, picnics and mountain climbing. Gunung Belumut promises exotic vegetation and breathtaking waterfalls.

Gunung Panti Recreational Forest

This recreational forest is a haven for those who like to camp. Facilities including campsites and temporary accommodation are provided for visitors. Rare species of flora and fauna can be found here.
