Pulau Rawa
For
a taste of the local lifestyle, visit the fishing village here. Apart

Pulau Besar
Located off the east coast of
Johor - 15 km from Mersing, the Besar Island is another Malaysia’s
paradise island where stretches of untouched beautiful beaches will
overwhelm visitors from around the world. This island offers visitors
clear blue waters where coral reefs form an enchanting underwater garden
below and is only an hour boat ride journey from Mersing.
There are many interesting activities. One can go snorkeling, fishing,
diving or take a trip to all the nearby islands. Visitors can trek
through the woods to see the tropical plants and animals or visit a
'kelong' to see the fishermen hauling up their nets laden with the
bountiful harvest from the sea. A number of resorts on the island offer

Pulau Sibu
The
island is famed for its clean white beaches, clear blue waters and
offshore coral reefs. The lush tropical vegetation which abounds further
inland lends an air of restful ambience. There are facilities for
snorkeling, scuba diving, wind surfing, sailing and angling. |

Pulau Tengah
This
island was gazette as a Marine Park due to the abundant marine life and
rare species of fish and coral. Giant leatherback turtles come ashore to

Pulau Tinggi
Pulau
Tinggi, rising 2,000 ft above sea level, is endowed with fresh waters, a
sheltered harbor and coral reefs which abound with prolific marine life.

Pulau
Pemanggil is about five hours away by boat from Mersing. This remote
island is also famed for the beauty and abundance of marine life within
its clear emerald waters. Chalets and longhouses are available for

Pulau Aur,
with its secluded lagoons and offshore pools, is famed for its natural
scenic beauty. It is perfect for bathing and a host of water-based
